occurrenceRemarks | Unlike Great Kiskadees in Texas, Mexico and middle America, the Brazil birds show very little rufous on the back. The rufous only shows when the wing is spread open. This was pretty surprising to me, but verified by several references. Certainly typical Great Kiskadee by voice, etc. Cuiaba River, near Porto Jofre, Pantanal, Brazil 13 August 2017 |
