Hillsides with frequent rounded outcropping quartz and boulders, and a thin, lack, almost pure humus soil suporting a periodically burned natural tussock sedge-grassland with scatered low Chusquea bamboo & ocasioonally other shrubs. Lower valleys sides often with dense Chusquea brakes, or brooks lined with marsh of Cladium in tussocks or withj "trunks"of massed rhizomes. |
