fieldNotes branched herb from soft-woody lower stems, to 1 m tall, this one in partly shade of shrubs and robust, often merely a few erect stems when growing in open sun. Leaves of this species consistently entire, the veins impressed above, prominent below. Inflorescence and flowers very reminiscent of sect. Petota. Flowers odorless; corolla light blue-violet, with yellow stars; anthers yellow.
