eventRemarks Atundant in the area, climbing and hanging from trees, forming a dense cover over vegetation. Delicate bamboo with small leaves, probably up to 8 m tall. Culms solid, very strong strong but slender, smooth surface, yellow at maturity. Forming dense clumps, the culms decumbent or curved at base. Culm sheaths persistent with erect blade. Plants blooming and fruiting abundantly and dying. Inflorescences bright green and purple in color. Fruits fleshy, green, like olives.
