identificationRemarks | @sandralamberts - Many of these Semyra look a lot alike, but finita is restricted to Mexico & Central America. Many of these require dissection to identify, so S. bella is my best guess based on others that I have looked at from Brazil. I was at the same location as you in the 90s and don't recall seeing this or Tanadema incongrua, so good to know that they are there. Note the antennae are threadlike = female. The males of this genus have bipectinate antennae. |
