occurrenceRemarks	Solitary palm with 3-4m x 35cm trunk. 25-26 LEAVES in crown, spirally arranged and erect arching. On adult trees the true leaf petiole is practically none and the leaf sheath is very short and adaxially channeled and abaxially rounded. Leaf rachis 608-630 cm long. 188-195 pairs of pinnae which are distributed in clusters of 3-4 along the rachis in three planes. Middle pinnae 104-118cm long x 4-4.5cm wide. Male INFLORESCENCE with 15+ cm long x 1.5 x 1.2cm diam. peduncle and 40 cm long rachis. There are numerous rachillae measuring 7cm long at the apex and 11 cm long at the base. Staminate flowers are light yellow and are very sticky or glutinous, ca. 8 mm long. Peduncular bract with a total length of 95 (89+)cm including a beak of 16 cm and the expanded or inflated part of the bract measuring 75 cm long x 20cm in width and with a 48 cm perimeter and a 15-17 mm thickness. Frutis green to brown in color and 6 cm long and 2.5-3 cm in diameter.
