identificationRemarks | to me it looks like P. hilarii althought i dont know if P.hilarii occurs in SP.. P. williamsi occurs in rivers with rapid water and rocks and it is restricted to PR, SC and RS..not the kind of enviroment presented in the photo. I know that theres is another specie os Phrynops to be described is the souteast.....but i dont know if it has already been described or not...maybe is the animal in this photo |
