occurrenceRemarks	Caespitose palm with short 1m x 8-10 cm trunk. 8-15 leaves in crown, spirally arranged and spreading. Leaf petiole 16-61 cm with smooth margins but with a fibrous leaf sheat and concave-convex in transection. Leaf rachis 79-93 cm. 46-71 pairs of pinnae wich are distribuited in clusters of 2-5 along the rachis in various planes. Middle pinnae 21-29 cm x 0.9 -1.7 cm. Androgynous interfoliar INFLORESCENCE with 18-39 cm penducle and 19-33 cm rachis. 8-18 rachillae with a length of 13-22cm. Peduncular bract 55-72 cm including a beak of 1-2 cm and the expanded or inflated part of the bract measuring 30-35 cm x 3-4.5 cm. Palm species common in this area.
